These API 5L Seamless Pipe produced by us are formed by molding raw steel into billets. These billets are then heated and pierced to form a hollow tube. Hence these seamless API Line Pipes do not have a weld. They display better pressure capacity, and strength when compared to welded pipes. This makes these pipes useful in boiler industries, thermal and high pressure equipment. Ideally, the welded area of a welded pipe is said to be the weakest point of the API 5L Line Pipe. It affects the overall performance of the pipe. Apart from this, the seamless pipes are said to be thin and light in weight when compared to the welded pipes. 

One other types of pipe are the API 5L Schedule 40 Pipes. They are produced from carbon steel and have manganese added to them in trance amounts. The addition of manganese makes our pipes harder, abrasion resistant, and increases the tensile strength. The API 5L Carbon Steel Pipe that is electrically welded is a good way to join pipes however they have their own limitations. The electrically welded pipes showcase efficiency only in relatively thin components. Whereas, API 5L Steel LSAW Pipe that is seamless have higher wall thickness and are not vulnerable to failure. The seamless pipes are said to be costlier than the welded ones due to the wide range of benefits provided by them. 

We at victor steel treat the 3LPE Coated API 5L DSAW Pipe with processes such as nitriding and carburization. This helps in improving the hardness. These pipes are also coated with different materials depending upon the requirement of the customer. These coatings help in reducing hydrogen induced cracking in sour and wet operating environments. API 5L Pipe varies depending upon the element used in them. When compared to the rest of the countries producing these pipes, ranks first when it comes to obtaining good quality products at a cheaper rate. What is API 5L Seamless Pipe ?

API is an international standard for grading pipes. That segregates them depending upon the properties inherited by them from the base metal. API 5L Pipe is one such pipe that is widely used for transferring oil, gas, water, and other liquified gases from one place to another. These pipes are available in 2 types API 5L PSL1 that are available in grades A25 to X70. Apart from this the second type of pipe is available in the API 5L PSL2. These pipes are available between the size range of 0.405 inches to 80 inches. Both these pipes display different chemical and mechanical properties.
