API 5L X65 Seamless Pipe is suitable to be used in sour services as they resist corrosion. Due to the chemical composition of API 5L X65 PSL2 material they are said to be one of the versatile pipes available in the market. API 5L Grade X65 Pipe is also known to be economical and display high efficiency. Depending upon the end-use of the product the end of the pipe can be threaded, or plain. Since these API 5L X65 PSL1 Welded Pipe are resistant to vibration and shock. Hence these X65 ERW Pipes are used in the transportation of gases and fluids and drilling.  

The API 5L Grade X65 High Yield Pipe can either be coated or surface treated. This coating or surface treatment reduces the flaws of the API 5L Gr X65 HIC Pipeline and also increases the physical properties. API X65 Carbon Steel Line Pipe is usually treated with anti-corrosive oil, varnish, or black paints. Furthermore, these X65 Steel Nace Pipe can also be heat treated to get a smooth surface finish. Hot and cold galvanization with zinc can be used on API 5L X65 SCH 40 DSAW Pipe. This process makes them resistant to corrosion due to rust.  

These API 5L X65 Grade B LSAW Pipes also resist sulfur stress cracking corrosion due to the improved resistance. This mainly occurs in sour wells. The API X65 Carbon Steel Line Pipe size ranges between ⅜ inches to 30 inches. It can also be made in other dimensions depending upon the schedule and requirement. API 5L X 65 Carbon Steel Seamless Pipe are widely used in mining, textile, sugar, and marine industries. Moreover, X65 Carbon Steel Pipes are also used in power generation via heat or solar energy, along with engineering equipment in nuclear and hydroelectricity. 

These API 5L Grade X65 PSL2 Epoxy Coated Pipes can be modified to X65q or X65m depending upon the application. API 5L Grade X65 PSL1 Sour Service Pipe can be epoxy coated, color point coated or 3PLE coated. API stands for American Petroleum Institute and is a standard that encompasses seamless and welded pipes. One such pipe is the API 5L X65 Pipe. It is a high level pipeline in the ISO 3183 grade and is hence recommended by many API 5L X65 Pipe suppliers to be used in oil and gas transmission. X65 Pipe has 2 variations PSL1 and PSL2. The Grade X65 PSL1 Pipe Line is a carbon steel pipe however it has certain other elements such as Chromium, manganese, phosphorus. They have a maximum tensile strength of 535 Mpa. Whereas, X65 Grade PSL2 Pipeline has all the above mentioned elements in lesser value than the X65 Grade PSL1 Line Pipe. The tensile strength of the Grade X65 PSL2 Spiral Pipe is also greater than the PSL1 type.
